The rhetoric of humanitarianism runs rife in official mission statements setting out the prime concerns of the department, and those of Whitehall more generally. To this end, an official report on FCDO “activities to promote human rights abroad” is published annually, along with a list of human rights “priority countries”. A “priority country” is one in which “we are particularly concerned about human rights issues, and where we consider that the UK can make a real difference”, the gov.uk website explains.

However, such high principles evidently fade into insignificance when and where there’s money to be made, for, as a shock report starkly exposes, in just over five years, London not only sold weapons to 14 “priority countries”, but five of those states also feature among the Department for International Trade’s (DIT) “priority countries” for such exports.

So it might surprise those not plugged into the internal politics of the Catholic Church, that within minutes of Biden being sworn in, the leader of the body representing US bishops assailed the new president for policies which he said “would advance moral evils”.

Archbishop José Gomez, President of the US Bishops’ Conference, said these policies concerned “abortion, contraception, marriage, and gender” while adding that with the advent of a Biden presidency there is “deep concern” about the “liberty of the Church and the freedom of believers to live according to their consciences.”

The need for “global leaders to come together to design a common recovery path and shape the Great Reset” in the post-cornavirus world has never been stronger, it adds. It then continues to set out the exact plan of WEF action to reshape the modern world in a pattern of its own design. The WEF says:

“An entire week of global programming will be dedicated to helping leaders choose innovative and bold solutions to stem the pandemic and drive a robust recovery over the next year. The Davos Agenda will also mark the launch of the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset Initiative and begin the preparation of the Special Annual Meeting in the spring. Each day will focus on one of the five domains of the Great Reset Initiative.”

The last time these actors did something at all similar in scope was in 1939 on the very eve of World War II. At that time the Rockefeller Foundation financed a top secret strategy group working out of the New York Council on Foreign Relations. It was known as the War and Peace Studies and headed by ‘America’s Haushofer,’ geographer Isaiah Bowman of Johns Hopkins University. Before German Panzer tanks had even rolled into Poland, they were planning a postwar world where the United States would emerge as the sole victor and replace the British as the global hegemonic power.

Now those same families, again including the Rockefeller Foundation and the Rothschilds in the person of Lynn de Rothschild’s “Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican,” are moving to create the next generation in their pursuit of global domination. It’s being called the Great Reset. It requires global government, a plank significantly endorsed by the Jesuit Pope Francis. Its PR man, Klaus Schwab, is a self-admitted protégé of Rockefeller insider Henry Kissinger, from their days 50 years ago at Harvard.

This all seems too surreal until you read from their own descriptions. The fact that the cabal of the world’s most influential corporations and billionaires sit on the board of WEF with Kissinger’s student, Klaus Schwab, along with the head of the UN and of the IMF, with the CEOs of the world’s largest financial giants including Blackrock, BlackStone, Christine Lagarde of the European Central Bank, David Rubenstein of Carlyle group, Jack Ma, richest billionaire in China, is proof enough this Great Reset is not being done with our true interests at heart, despite their silky words. This dystopian agenda is 1984 on steroids. COVID-19 was merely the prelude.

As the article details, the US Federal Reserve Board, the nation’s central bank, has officially joined the Network of Central Banks and Supervisors for Greening the Financial System (NGFS). That’s “Greening,” as in “environmentalism,” “Greta Thunberg,” “Green New Deal,” and all that. And as the Times makes clear in its headline, the left is loving it.

NGFS is an organization that few Americans have heard of, and yet it’s potentially one of the most powerful entities on the planet: Its roster of members and observers is nearly 100, including such mighties as the Bank of Japan, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. And now, the US Federal Reserve. So we can see that just about all the money in the world passes through its institutions. That’s power.

It’s interesting to note that in the past, the left has been mostly hostile to big financial institutions, seeing them as pillars of Capitalism. And yet nowadays, the left — at least its huge green faction — is cheering for the financiers. Why this turnabout? Because NGFS is an an institution that the green left can control, and thus guide, in its pursuit of “sustainability” — that being the favored buzzword of the ecologically woke. As NGFS says of itself, its mission is to “contribute to the development of environment and climate risk management in the financial sector to mobilize mainstream finance to support the transition toward a sustainable economy.”

The Trump-era order sought to ban, replace, and set new criteria on bulk-power system (BPS) electric equipment coming from a foreign country or national that poses a national security threat. What’s more, Biden’s son Hunter was previously involved in several business relationships with CEFC China Energy Chairman Ye Jianming.

“After his father left office in 2017, Hunter Biden worked on securing a deal with CEFC China Energy to invest in US energy projects, according to documents released by Republicans,” CNN noted. Similarly, an investment firm headed by Hunter Biden funneled millions into China General Nuclear Power Corp, a state-owned power company guilty of stealing American nuclear technology for use by the Chinese Communist Party for decades.

Those that drafted this new law say that it will help authorities go after “extremists”, and very few of us would consider ourselves to be one of those. But the definition of an extremist has changed. Tulsi Gabbard is one of the most prominent Democrats in the House of Representatives, and last year she ran for president. But even though she is a Democrat, she is warning that this new law appears to be “a targeting of almost half of the country”…

“What characteristics are we looking for as we are building this profile of a potential extremist, what are we talking about? Religious extremists, are we talking about Christians, evangelical Christians, what is a religious extremist? Is it somebody who is pro-life? Where do you take this?” Gabbard said. She said the proposed legislation could create “a very dangerous undermining of our civil liberties, our freedoms in our Constitution, and a targeting of almost half of the country.”
