In the same way that the sun's rays are concentrated on a small space by a burning glass, the shifting balance of power in the region down through the centuries and, since the late nineteenth century, the ambitions of two rival national movements – Zionist and Arab Palestinian – have been concentrated on a 14-hectare-large area in the Old City of Jerusalem that is steeped in history.

For materialists — quite prevalent in Silicon Valley — an organism is only a collection of cells and chemical signals with nothing like a “soul.” In their self-conception, these innovators are simply joining Nature’s inexorable march from steam engines to smartphones to cyborgs, and beyond. Many of them view pain and suffering as mere brain signals on a flickering monitor. For them, the pleasure of advancement is a much higher priority.

But that’s exactly what the first ever Green candidate for chancellor, 40-year-old Annalena Baerbock, did when asked that very question by German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung and the photo is there to prove it. It has to be said, the former star trampolinist – winning bronze three times as a teenager at the national titles – popped the tricky move just fine.

Before viewing that stunt as something of a spontaneous celebration of excitement at the prospect of one day becoming chancellor, understand that the ambitious and clever Baerbock knows exactly what she is doing.

Born in Hanover in 1980, the same year as the party she now leads was founded, the married mother-of-two with a Masters in International Law from the London School of Economics is known as a talk show habitué for her countless TV appearances, and is a canny political operator now in the driving seat of yet another well-oiled German machine.

The shutdown of the page follows Facebook introducing a ban on a wide range of claims about the coronavirus vaccine in February. The list of prohibited claims includes claims that the vaccines cause blood clots and claims that the coronavirus vaccine changes people’s DNA (something that even Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told Facebook staff during a July 2020 internal meeting).

Not only is Facebook restricting a wide range of vaccine-related claims but it’s also adding labels to all posts about coronavirus vaccines. These labels state that vaccines are safe and direct users to sources that Facebook has deemed “authoritative” such as the World Health Organization (WHO).

Politicians have actively encouraged this Big Tech crackdown on vaccine skepticism. Days ago, Democrats pushed Facebook and Twitter to “address” 12 prominent vaccine skeptics. State Attorneys General also told Facebook and Twitter to kill vaccine skepticism earlier this month. These crackdowns on vaccine skeptic conversations come amid mass pushes from global governments to introduce digital vaccine passports that force people to prove their vaccination or test status to enter business premises.

Around 11 pm Friday the IDF said three rockets were launched from Gaza, with the Iron Dome system intercepting one of the projectiles. Two other rockets fell in an open area and there were no reports of injuries or damage. Iron Dome is programmed to not deploy at rockets that are projected to hit non-populated areas.

Then, around 2 am, rocket sirens were again activated several times in communities near Gaza, with seven more apparent rocket launches. Iron Dome was reported to intercept three of the rockets. Others fell in open areas. Sirens were again activated around 3 am, 4 am and 5 am with more rockets that hit open areas.

The rocket salvos came hours after the Hamas terror group that rules Gaza held a series of protests in the Strip and called for violence against Israel in the wake of fierce clashes Thursday in Jerusalem between police, extremist Jewish activists and Palestinian protesters.

Meanwhile, the head of the US Central Command, which oversees the American forces stationed in the West Asia region, revealed to the US Congress that the Iranian drone power had stripped the American air force, of what the commander called, its upper hand in the world. General Frank McKenzie was commenting in a written testimony to the House Armed Services Committee, when he noted how Washington was daunted by Iran’s far-and-wide application of small- and medium-sized drones for surveillance and attacks.

Iran’s widespread use of the aircraft for the purposes, he said, meant that “for the first time since the Korean War, we are operating without complete air superiority.” “Until we are able to develop and field a networked capability to detect and defeat UAS (unmanned aerial systems), the advantage will remain with the attacker,” he said.

Iran, therefore, poses a daily threat to the US and its allies in the Middle East as America’s military superiority in the region wanes, the general said.

It is all a far cry from January 2019, when French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel signed a friendship treaty in Aachen, with the two leaders saying they would deepen cooperation in foreign affairs, defense, development and security.

The location for the signing was deeply symbolic and designed to send a strong signal. Aachen was the capital of Charlemagne's Frankish empire, which encompassed the territory of most of the EU's six founding members. For commentators, the message was clear: with Britain's departure from the EU, the treaty was meant to underscore that France and Germany remained at the heart of the European project and its true leaders.

But since that show of unity the two countries have been increasingly at loggerheads on a range of key issues. Both Merkel and Macron and their officials are restrained in openly criticizing each other and have largely avoided public spats, say analysts. But that didn't stop Macron and German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer from clashing last year when the French leader sharply criticized her for an op-ed arguing "Europe still needs America."

We rely on level-headed commercial airline pilots to fly us from one place to another. They are highly competent and they are highly respected. So the fact that so many of them have filed official reports in which they describe witnessing UFOs is definitely something that we should take very seriously. And according to one Canadian UFO researcher, the reports from these pilots are consistent with other UFO sightings in Canada going all the way back to the 1940s…

Meanwhile, UFO sightings have been making waves in the US lately too. In fact, the Pentagon created quite a stir recently when it confirmed that leaked UFO photos taken in 2019 were indeed legitimate. The following comes from CNN… “The Defense Department has confirmed that leaked photos and video of ‘unidentified aerial phenomena’ taken in 2019 are indeed legitimate images of unexplained objects.”

Do the skeptics want to try to claim that all of those Navy pilots were crazy? At this point, it is becoming increasingly difficult for UFO skeptics to retain their credibility. Something is clearly happening, and I believe that all of the leaks that have been occurring are meant to mentally condition us for further disclosures in the future. The stage is being set for a deception of absolutely epic proportions, and most people will swallow whatever they are told hook, line and sinker.

We live in such crazy times, and they are only going to get crazier. In such an environment, it is imperative to learn how to think for yourself, because lies are everywhere. The truth is out there, but it is not always easy to find, and our world is becoming more filled with deception with each passing day.

The decade after radical decisions made in the United States on immigration and technology, the 2030’s will create a golden era for the United States, so much so that the United States (especially because of the dissolution of Russia and the division of China into regional governments) will have the power to do almost anything they want in the world.

George Floyd’s death, said Biden, “was a murder in the full light of day, and it ripped the blinders off for the whole world to see the systemic racism… that is a stain on our nation’s soul — the knee on the neck of justice for Black Americans.” Astonishing. Implication: Floyd died to redeem America of her original sin of racism. All in all, quite a commentary on our leaders. For, again, our president and vice president are saying that this people and country still suffer from a sickness of the soul that dates back to its formative days.

The 1960s radicals who vilified our country as “Amerika” were rightly called “anti-American.” Today, the difference between what they said about America and what our highest elected leaders are saying is hard to discern. Our enemies have picked up on this. In Anchorage, after Secretary of State Antony Blinken called Beijing out for repression in Hong Kong and “genocide” in Xinjiang, China’s foreign minister was right back in his face.

You Americans should look to your own sins and clean up your house before lecturing the world on political morality, he said. Today, that Chinese foreign minister could cite Biden and Harris as his chief witnesses that America is a nation sick in its soul.

We hear our leaders’ attacks on America. Where is their defense? What other nation has provided the same measures of personal and political freedoms and material blessings for 40 million Black people as has the United States? If people of color are treated “as less than human” in America, as Harris says, why are so many people of color seeking desperately to get across our Southern border to build their future here?

The main perpetrators of violent crimes against Black Americans — are other Black Americans. Black men, ages 16 to 40, are 3% of the US population but commit roughly a third of America’s violent crimes. Defund police, restrict police, remove police and you will get more of what the police prevent — crimes, especially violent crimes, in your community.

As Israeli military aircraft pounded Iranian-backed forces in southern Syria on Thursday morning, there were reports coming in from central Israel of massive explosions that were so large they “shook the houses”…According to the Jerusalem Post, an Israeli military official insists that there was just one explosion and that it was caused by a Syrian surface to air missile that just happened to land in the southern Negev… But that wouldn’t seem to explain the multiple “explosions” that residents of central Israel reported on Thursday morning.

The good news is that a full-blown war between Israel and Iran has not erupted yet. But such a war is coming. It is just a matter of time at this point. Inevitably, someone will escalate things a little bit too much, and then thousands of missiles will start flying. Iranian-backed Hezbollah has 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel right now, and the Iranians are fully capable of doing immense damage to major Israeli cities. Of course the Israeli military is even more powerful. In the event of a full-blown war, Israel could literally level every single major city in Iran, Syria and Lebanon.
