CANADA - As a Canadian (Canadian mother and Swiss father) I must say I am not proud at all of my government and its political actions. In three days, Trudeau grounded the unvaxxed in perpetuity, banned handguns across the board, and is set to legalize hard drugs in BC. If he was trying to destroy Canada, what would he be doing different? In the meantime, Justin Trudeau has decided that unvaccinated Ukrainians deserve better treatment than Canadians and that the federal travel ban shouldn’t apply to them.
GERMANY - A major German business association explicitly warns against imposing new sanctions on China. Whoever calls for such sanctions, must be aware of the Chinese market’s tremendous importance for German industry, the President of the Federation of German Industry (BDI), Siegfried Russwurm, declared. Escalating the economic war against the People’s Republic could inflict additional serious damage on Germany’s economy, which – directly or indirectly – has already been severely affected by sanctions on Russia. German politicians and media are currently calling for new sanctions – in reaction to the recent publication of documents alleging human rights violations in the China’s Xinjiang region. In addition, for the first time, the German government has taken steps to complicate new investments in China, by refusing the previously standard support measures. The debate on new sanctions was launched as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, had achieved initial positive results in negotiations with the People’s Republic of China.
USA - The California legislature is poised to enact a "medical misinformation bill," according to The Epoch Times. The bill, AB-2098, presented by Democratic Assembly member Evan Low, states that any physician or surgeon who practices the "dissemination or promotion of misinformation or disinformation" about COVID-19 is at "risk [of] losing their medical license." This "medical misinformation bill," physician Dr Syed Haider explained, currently in the California Legislature, seeks to deter doctors from promoting off-label treatments for COVID-19 such as ivermectin. This, he said, "begs the question of who decides what is the truth?" "In any scientific field or endeavor, there is no absolute truth." And "Dr [Anthony] Fauci is not science, like he claims to be," Haider says. “Patients should be able to consult with their physician, discuss treatments and risks, and make decisions without the interference of the government."
USA - President Joe Biden’s Department of Energy (DOE) marked the first day of “pride month” by calling for pride “this month,” “next month” and “always” as gas prices continue to skyrocket, reaching another record high on Wednesday. The social media post was not immediately well-received. “So comforting to know that you’ve invested your time and effort into this nonsense when the Secretary of Energy doesn’t even know how much oil the US consumes daily and Americans are paying the highest prices ever for fuel,” one user wrote.
USA - Prices paid to American farmers for crops and livestock continued to soar in April, data released by the Department of Agriculture on Tuesday showed. The index of prices received for agricultural production was up 5.1 percent compared with a month earlier. Compared with a year ago, prices of US agricultural products are up 28 percent. The index for crops rose 1.7 in April and is up 17 percent compared with April of 2021. The livestock index jumped eight percent from March and is up 40 percent compared with a year ago.
USA - Russia is the largest grain exporter. And now that grain exports are being blocked by the sanctions, the question is, what are North Africa and the Near East going to do that have been depending very largely on Russian grain exports? Their food prices are going to go way up. Since Russia’s counter-sanctions have cut off fertilizer to much of the world, there will likely be a food crisis everywhere, it is important to note.
USA – This is insane! We’re officially out of our minds! Only the liberal mindset would tell deadly drug users to be proud of themselves and “empowered” for self-inflicting harm. “Don’t be ashamed that you are using,” the poster in the New York City Subway system reads. It goes on to supportively say “be empowered that you are using safely.” In a discussion of “what is fentanyl” and “why is it dangerous” as well as how to “prevent overdose” the poster gives horrendously dangerous and misguided advice which actually condones use of dangerous drugs.
USA - The World Health Organization says that people should not change their plans to attend Pride celebrations over monkeypox outbreaks. The leading theory for the reason for rapid spread of the virus is sex between men at two raves in Europe. “It’s important that people who want to go out and celebrate gay pride, LGBTQ+ pride, to continue to go and plan to do so,” Andy Seale, a strategies adviser in the WHO Department of Global HIV, Hepatitis and Sexually Transmitted Infections Programmes, said during a press briefing on Monday, according to The Hill. “There is no specific transmission route that we need to be worried about,” Seale said. “It really is connected to the fact there have been a couple of events that have perhaps amplified the current outbreak.”
USA - A barn that housed tens of thousands of chickens on Forsman Farm in Howard Lake, Minnesota, one of the nation’s largest egg producers, was set aflame late Saturday night. According to Forsman Farms, which provides more than three million eggs to the largest retailers in the country, the cause of the fire remains a mystery as investigators evaluate the scene to determine how the barn was set ablaze. “Overnight, a fire destroyed one of our barns at our Howard Lake farm. No one was injured and we are grateful that first responders were quickly on the scene to put out the fire. Unfortunately, chickens were lost because of the fire. We are evaluating the extent of the damage – which appears to be confined to a single structure – as well as investigating the cause of the fire,” a Forsman Farms told Minnesota’s local CBS affiliate. Law enforcement officials estimate at least 200,000 chickens were killed in the massive flame.
As the Gateway Pundit has reported, at least 16 major fires have erupted at food industry facilities and plants over the past five months. All of the fires have been officially listed as accidental or inconclusive.
USA - North Dakota farmer Dwight Grotberg wanted to plant more wheat this spring to capitalize on soaring prices since Russia's invasion of Ukraine cut grain exports and left the world short of millions of tonnes of wheat supply. Heavy rain has prevented Grotberg from planting as much wheat crop as he wanted and is hampering farmers across the state, the top US grower of spring wheat. Instead of boosting supply, North Dakota expected to plant wheat over the smallest share of its farmland on record, according to government data. The United States is the world's fourth-largest wheat exporter and problems are hitting output at a time when the world can ill afford to lose any more supplies of the staple grain amid a global food crisis.

The trusted technology that uses your face or fingerprint to unlock your phone can now be used to help consumers speed through the checkout. With Mastercard’s new Biometric Checkout Program, all you will need is yourself.
USA - Quietly and without a murmur, the Middle East policy of US President Joe Biden appears to be performing what stunt riders call a handbrake turn. Biden is veering away from his signature policy, a nuclear deal with Iran, and lurching towards Saudi normalisation with Israel, which was the major piece of unfinished business of former President Donald Trump’s Abraham Accords. After this stunt has been performed, Biden’s Middle East policy will be all but indistinguishable from Trump’s. Qatar will no longer be under siege but Iran will remain under maximum sanctions, and all US attention will be on growing Israel’s links with the region. For all his naked mercantilist ambitions – backing illegitimate despots in return for his 30 pieces of silver – Trump’s legacy in the Middle East is enduring. Having denounced both its de facto ruler and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia itself as a “pariah” state, Biden seems to be only too willing to deal with pariahs. He is following sheep-like in Trump’s footsteps.
GERMANY - The leftist Chancellor of Germany has been accused of comparing radical climate change activists to the Nazis after he criticised black bloc protesters who attempted to disrupt a panel discussion. Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemned far-left activists clad in Antifa-style black block gear for trying to break up a talk in Stuttgart, Germany at which he was invited to attend as a speaker. Scholz described the protest as “theatrically practiced,” saying per DW: “I have to say honestly, these antics, staged at various events but always by the same black-clad people, remind me of an era that is, thank God, long past.” The chancellor added that the protesters should participate in the discussion rather than attempting to “manipulate an event to serve one’s own purposes.” The relationship between Nazi theories on the land, environment, and power has been identified as a forerunner of the green movement, with Hitler — an ardent vegetarian — stressing the need for renewable energy sources such as wind power under the assumption of running out of coal power.
GERMANY - Berlin will pour 100 billion euros into its military, with the goal of fielding the largest NATO army in Europe. Germany’s plan to invest a whopping 100 billion euro ($107.35 billion) into its military will allow Berlin to significantly expand its fighting force, Chancellor Olaf Scholz told local media on Monday. This will make the German army the biggest in Europe among NATO members, he said. The pledge, which the Chancellor made in an interview with several domestic newspapers, came after the country’s major parliamentary factions agreed, on Sunday night, to a special exemption required to borrow the money and invest it in the military. The ruling coalition needed the support of opposition lawmakers to secure two thirds of the votes to adopt the decision, which requires an amendment of Germany’s Basic Law.
SWITZERLAND - It will have come as no surprise to hear Schwab opening the 2022 WEF gathering at Davos in Switzerland with talk of “the global agenda” and “our global system”, spouting forth about improving “the state of the world” when he actually means imposing one. For those who have followed our various revelations about the close relationship between the intersectional social-impact “left” and the financial mafia behind the Great Reset, his mention of the presence at Davos of a younger generation of “social entrepreneurs” will be self-explanatory.
