The smartphone spies on us by continuously collecting data about current and past location, shopping habits, social habits, the kind of news we consume, political attitude, personal interests, contact tracing, and so much more and sends it to the big tech companies, above all the provider of the smartphones operating system which is either google (android) or apple and which save and file every information for a future particular purpose which will not be benevolent.

It manipulates us and shapes our perception by the constant stream of fake push news, it distracts us from the real world with oh so funny little games and needless info from (anti)social networks, it isolates us from each other and it destroys basic human communication as it is so much easier to send some stupid text messages than to talk face to face or voice to voice.

With every app we download and use we give up more of our freedom and personal liberty and dehumanize ourselves. We voluntarily put a digital chain around our necks and pull it tighter and tighter.

These demonstrations, held every Monday, have popped up all over eastern Germany — styled after weekly protests in the 1980s against the GDR. While the protests began in 2020 over COVID-19 lockdowns, they have swelled in recent months as anger mounts in Germany amid the economic fallout from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The Alternative for Germany, a far-right party, is a regular fixture at these demonstrations. The party has opposed arming Ukraine or sanctioning Russia — a position that is resonating with some voters as the AfD polls at near-record levels nationally and looks poised to come first in some state elections in 2024.

Concerns over the far-right’s rise only grew larger this week, after 25 people were arrested Wednesday, including a former AfD MP, over plans to storm parliament. German officials said they expect more arrests to follow. That the coup planners had reportedly wanted to try to negotiate with Russia as soon as they took power has placed a larger spotlight on how the far-right in Germany — if not much of Europe — is being emboldened by the war in Ukraine.

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh claimed the December 9 incident was provoked by Chinese troops who attempted to cross the border. “The ensuing faceoff led to a physical scuffle in which the Indian Army bravely prevented the PLA from transgressing into our territory and compelled them to return to their posts,” Singh said.

Beijing has ramped up military, diplomatic and economic pressure since the 2016 election of Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen, who rejects its stance that the island is part of China. In a daily update on Tuesday morning Taiwan's defence ministry said 21 aircraft entered the island's southwest air defence identification zone (ADIZ) over the last 24 hours, including 18 nuclear-capable H-6 bombers.

That represents by far the largest daily sortie by H-6 bombers since Taipei first began releasing daily incursion data in September 2020, according to a database maintained by AFP. The wave came after China slapped fresh import bans on Taiwanese food, beverages, alcohol and fishery products last week, prompting Premier Su Tseng-chang to accuse Beijing of violating international trade rules and "discriminating" against the island.

The job of the NHS, for instance, is to treat patients. Full stop. Not to tell staff how to think. Yet if the salary structure is any indication, the Left-wing bureaucrats who run the health service value equality and diversity officers above nurses, ambulance drivers and junior doctors. With seven million people waiting for operations, how can the NHS justify spending 76 grand, plus perks, on a 'Head of Leadership, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing'?

By the way, the Federal Reserve is currently working on a digital currency as well. And this is all happening as the private cryptocurrency industry is imploding all around us. Many had believed that decentralized cryptocurrencies would be the future of commerce, but global central banks were never going to allow that to happen. Instead, it appears that they intend to force all of us on to a cashless grid in which everyone uses digital currencies that are issued by them. As time rolls along, things are only going to get even more weird. If you have been waiting for life to “return to normal”, you can stop right now. It simply is not going to happen, and I believe that global events will accelerate even more during the early stages of 2023.
