Just prior to the giving of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost an interest event took place - the selection of an apostle to replace Judas - by drawing of a lot. Following the giving of the Holy Spirit there are no recorded examples of God's will be determined by lot. This sermonette explores why and the implications for us today. (2.6 Mb)
